Notes from LOAC monthly meeting, September 2, 2025.

                        • Not all areas have representatives.
                        • 9/26 there will be a SPOL training. 11-12 in zoom.
                        • 10/1 in F243. I think this is part of the Faculty Learning Lab, but it isn’t appearing on the PD webpage (yet).

                        SPOL NOTES

                        • Erik Arevalo is available if you need help with SPOL.
                        • If the PLO’s are correct in CurriquNet, but wrong in SPOL, Erik can fix it.
                        • If the PLO’s are wrong in CurriquNet, or need updating, then you need to go through AP&P.
                        • Check your program in SPOL. Who is the program manager, and who are the program members? If you’ve had turnover in your area, you will need to update this.
                        • If you have new programs starting next academic year, they won’t be loaded automatically when the catalog is updated. You need to alert Erik so he can create them in SPOL.
                        • There are training videos available.
                        • suggestion to make one specific to CTE programs for assessments and annual updates. Tom Lamica, dean of CTE would know what is required for that.
                        • would like coaching on “how to interpret the data”. This training could be specific to different programs.
