The DEIA Commitee is hosting the film screening event for Selena and Zoot Suit next month, October 17 & 18, 2025.

More information and Save the Date to follow.

Film Director, Luis Valdez, will be present for questions.

He directed La Bamba and Zoot Suit, was the voice actor on Coco, and founder of El Teatro Campesino.

• Grading for Equity event – September 19 – 8:30am – 12:30pm with the author, Joe Feldman!

When: September 19, 2025, from 8:30am to 12:30pm

Who: Interested AHC faculty

Where: Boyd Hall, AHC, Building F

Food: Coffee and refreshments during check-in – so please be prepared to come early since we cannot bring food or drinks into the auditorium. These will also be available during breaks until they are gone.

Part-Time faculty will sign-in and then sign-out to receive four hours compensation for the training.
